This Art Collectible, Reflections of Youth in Black, is a stunning miniature version of Joseph Klibansky’s iconic Reflections of Youth sculpture, originally released in 2017 in mirror polished bronze. Renowned as one of Klibansky’s most sought-after artworks, all original versions—across all sizes—have long been sold out.

In 2024 Klibansky released an exclusive version of this sculpture, a hand-chiseled masterpiece created from solid Belgian black marble.

This collectible is meticulously hand-cast in resin and securely connected to its base with a steel pin for durability. To replicate the striking appearance of the original Belgian black marble, the sculpture is sprayed with a specific matte black paint, carefully matched to capture the authentic color and texture of the original material.

Each piece is presented in a beautifully designed, handcrafted box with a custom foam inlay to ensure protection during transport. The base of the sculpture is signed, dated, and individually numbered, making each collectible truly unique. For added authenticity, both the sculpture and its box feature tamper-proof hologram stickers with matching unique numbers, registered in our database to confirm their connection and provenance.

Artist Proof

This collectible sculpture is being released in a limited edition of 350 pieces, each individually numbered. In addition, there is a more exclusive Artist Proof (AP) edition of 35 pieces. While the sculptures themselves are identical, the Artist Proof edition is uniquely numbered (e.g., AP 1/35, AP 2/35) and represents a more exclusive subset for collectors seeking something special. Artist Proofs are traditionally reserved for the artist’s personal use or as special pieces, and they are often highly sought after by collectors due to their exclusivity and unique numbering. This AP edition offers a more exclusive option for those looking to own a special piece within the series.

The original bronze Reflections of Youth is a polished bronze sculpture of a young deer, mirrored as if it is sitting on water. This reflection creates a double image, blending the real and the imagined. The deer symbolizes innocence and youth, inspired by the timeless character of Bambi.
